About the role
This role is for individuals with military experience interested in private sector careers at Amazon. The Apprentice Academy Centre Manager will oversee the daily and strategic operations of the Engineering Apprenticeship Training Academy at LCY2. Reporting to the Senior Apprenticeship Program Manager, this position involves leading the delivery of high-quality engineering apprenticeship training, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, awarding body, and Amazon standards. The ideal candidate will have experience as a curriculum manager from a Further Education college or commercial apprenticeship provider, with extensive knowledge of engineering apprenticeship delivery. A recognized Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Internal Verifier (IV) qualification, or progress towards one, is required. Entry requirements
- Experience as a curriculum manager from a Further Education college or commercial apprenticeship provider, with extensive knowledge of engineering apprenticeship delivery. Must hold, or be working towards, a recognised Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) or Internal Verifier (IV) qualification. Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL. Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams. Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements. Experience in program or project management. Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization. Experience defining and executing program requirements.
