Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) – Abacus Ark - Apprentice

About the role

This is a 12-month Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) programme designed for graduates of any subject, leading to Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS). As an EYITT Trainee at Abacus Ark, you will support children's learning and development, plan and deliver engaging activities, and observe and assess their progress. You will build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promote inclusive practice, and ensure safeguarding and health and safety standards are met. The program emphasizes reflection and professional development with guidance from experienced practitioners and mentors. It's fully funded by the Department for Education (DfE) and requires a Bachelor's degree (2:1) along with GCSEs in English, Maths, and Science (grade 4 or above). Applicants must also meet residency and right-to-work requirements.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade 4 or above, and a Bachelor's Degree in any subject at 2:1.
