About the role
This is a 12-month Early Years Initial Teacher Training (EYITT) programme, fully funded by the Department for Education, designed for graduates of any subject. Upon completion, you will achieve Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), becoming a fully qualified early years teacher. As a trainee, you will support children's learning, development, and wellbeing, plan and deliver engaging activities, observe and assess children's progress, build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, promote inclusive practice, and ensure safeguarding and health and safety standards are met. You will also reflect on and develop your professional practice with guidance from experienced practitioners and mentors.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English, Maths, and Science at grade 4 or above, and a Bachelor's Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject.
