About the role

Mumbles Day Nursery in Sandon is seeking a passionate Nursery Room Leader Apprentice to join their team. This is an exceptional opportunity to develop advanced leadership skills within an early years setting while pursuing an Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 qualification. You will be instrumental in leading the daily operations of a nursery room, fostering children's learning and development, and maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. The role involves close collaboration with the management team and fellow practitioners, offering valuable leadership experience and enhancing knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and high-quality early years practice. Responsibilities include planning and evaluating engaging activities, acting as a key person, observing and assessing children's progress, mentoring other practitioners, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies. This position requires commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and professionalism.
