About the role

Mumbles Day Nursery in Stone is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join their team as a Nursery Room Leader Apprentice. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop advanced leadership skills in an early years setting while working towards the Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship Level 5 qualification. The apprentice will lead the day-to-day operations of a nursery room, support children's learning and development, and help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging activities, acting as a key person, observing and assessing children's progress, mentoring other practitioners, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies. The apprenticeship involves working closely with young children and requires a commitment to high standards of care, safeguarding, and professionalism. Upon completion of this 24-month apprenticeship, you will have obtained your Early Years Lead Practitioner Level 5 Apprenticeship.
