About the role
As an Apprentice Chef with Hungry Horse, you will prepare, cook, and present food that meets specifications and customer expectations. You will maintain hygiene levels and safety regulations in the kitchen, communicate clearly with your team to provide high-quality meals on time, and keep up to date with new products, menus, and promotions. This apprenticeship includes work-based training with a Lifetime Learner Coach and a workplace mentor. You will also obtain Functional Skills in English and Maths if you don't already have GCSEs or equivalents. Additionally, you will join the Chef Academy, attending four masterclasses in different cooking areas. The White Barn is a welcoming pub restaurant offering a family-friendly atmosphere and a mouth-watering menu.
