About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a Commis Chef at The Unicorn, a traditional country pub. You will gain hands-on experience in preparing fresh ingredients, assisting the Head Chef during busy services, and maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene. The role involves learning stock rotation, allergy management, and food safety protocols. You'll also contribute to inventory monitoring and kitchen cleaning tasks. The pub is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and offers a supportive, family-run environment with mentorship from an experienced Head Chef. Live-in accommodation with Wi-Fi is available. Upon completion, there's potential for permanent employment or further training.
