About the role
This Level 2 Catering and Hospitality Foundation Apprenticeship offers 8 months of hands-on experience in the basics of the industry. Apprentices will learn about safe food preparation, supporting busy services, customer interaction, teamwork, and workplace standards. The program is designed for motivated individuals to explore different areas within Sodexo and take their first step into work. Daily tasks will include back-of-house activities like preparing simple food items, ingredient preparation, assisting chefs, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and stock management. Front-of-house duties involve customer greetings, serving food and drinks, replenishing service areas, taking orders, and maintaining customer spaces. Comprehensive support will be provided by managers, the team, and trainers.
