About the role

This apprenticeship trains individuals to become Food and Drink Process Operators. Key responsibilities include preparing and serving food and beverages, adhering to strict food hygiene, allergen, and safety standards. Operators will learn to safely operate kitchen equipment, maintain cleanliness in food preparation and customer areas, and provide excellent customer service. The role also involves operating the till, managing payments, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring product freshness through date checks and rotation. Apprentices will also follow procedures for food storage, waste, and stock control, and support daily opening and closing routines. Health and safety, fire, and security procedures are paramount. Effective communication and teamwork within a busy environment are essential. This role offers the potential for a full-time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
