IT Support Technician Apprentice

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program for an IT Support Technician. The apprentice will be responsible for providing technical support to customers, handling queries, logging issues, and communicating updates. The role involves answering calls, diagnosing and troubleshooting problems, documenting procedures, and offering administrative support to the IT team. Key tasks include installing and updating software on various devices, writing basic SQL queries, and testing software. The ideal candidate will possess general software technical knowledge, the ability to set up and configure hardware/software, and strong communication skills. A good understanding of warehouse operations and confidence on the phone are also beneficial. The apprenticeship includes remote training modules covering core support, security, digital support, communication, and technical training, with regular progress reviews.
