About the role

The role will support the kitchen team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food while undertaking a structured apprenticeship programme. The role is designed to develop culinary skills, knowledge, and experience within a professional kitchen environment while working towards a recognised qualification. Duties include preparing ingredients, assisting with cooking, learning cooking techniques and food presentation, ensuring high food quality and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean kitchen, following safety procedures, helping with stock management, and supporting the kitchen team during busy service. Successful completion of the Apprentice Commis Chef programme can open the door to a range of exciting career opportunities within the business, with opportunities to progress through several culinary and hospitality roles.
