About the role
SHIRLEY TECHNOLOGIES LTD is seeking an IT Support Apprentice to join their small IT team in Stretford. This role offers hands-on experience in 1st and 2nd line support, user onboarding, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and IT projects. The apprentice will work directly with the IT Manager, receiving mentoring and exposure to a broad range of technologies. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, assisting with device setup, and supporting IT projects. Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in IT, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a willingness to learn. Desirable knowledge includes Windows environments, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts. The apprenticeship is for 1 year 6 months, with an additional 3 months for EPA. The employer is looking for a candidate interested in long-term commitment.
