About the role

This Information Communications Technician Apprenticeship at SERIUN LTD offers a comprehensive 18-month program focused on developing key IT skills. Apprentices will be responsible for resolving customer issues through various channels, including a ticketing system, phone, and email, while adhering to Service Level Agreements. The role involves hands-on experience with network devices such as routers, firewalls, and switches, as well as troubleshooting Windows Server (2012/2016/2019) and endpoint devices (Windows 7/10). Apprentices will also gain proficiency in Office 365 administration, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, and VPN troubleshooting. Practical tasks include working with end users, managing cabling, using ticket systems, formatting and building new hardware, and replacing components on end-user devices. Opportunities to assist other business teams with on-site tasks will also be available. This apprenticeship is ideal for individuals with strong communication, IT, problem-solving, and organizational skills who are eager to build a career in the digital sector. Upon completion of the Level 3 apprenticeship, there is a potential to progress to a Level 6 qualification.
