About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a Nursery Apprentice at THE TREES SWINDON OLD TOWN LTD. You will be instrumental in creating a warm, friendly, and stimulating environment for children to develop emotionally, socially, and educationally. Responsibilities include providing all aspects of childcare under supervision, such as washing, changing, and feeding. You will also act as a key worker to a small group of children, recording observations and planning for them, and assisting with their personal and emotional needs. Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is paramount, as is adhering to the nursery's policies and procedures. This role requires excellent communication, attention to detail, organisation, and customer care skills, along with a patient, logical, and creative approach to teamwork. Upon completion of your Level 2 Apprenticeship, there may be opportunities to progress to a Level 3 qualification or a full-time position with further training.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English: 4 or C and above (Essential), GCSE Maths: 4 or C and above (Desired)
