About the role

Farm Friends Nursery Condover near Shrewsbury are recruiting for a Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprentice. This is an excellent opportunity to join an Ofsted outstanding nursery that will support apprentices in developing the necessary skills, knowledge, and behaviors to progress in an Early Years setting. The role involves providing care and education for children from birth to 4 years under supervision. Duties include working in partnership with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet individual needs, using play to promote healthy life choices, and undertaking tasks related to child safety, hygiene, and setting cleanliness. The nursery is located in a rural setting near Shrewsbury with extensive outdoor space and access to a sensory room and farm walks. An enhanced DBS is required.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 FS. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Presentation skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness, Willingness to learn and grow, Reliable and motivated.
