About the role

A chance to start your career in childcare at LUCY LOCKETS TINEY HOME NURSERY LTD, a homely and quiet setting rather than a large commercial nursery. As an Apprentice Childminder Assistant, you will join a close-knit team offering support. The role involves working with children aged 0-5, assisting with mealtimes, planning and delivering activities to aid development, building bonds with children, completing observations, and ensuring a safe and tidy environment. You will also assist with parent handovers and other general duties.

Entry requirements

  • Desired / GCSE / English / 4 (C) or above. Desired / GCSE / Mathematics / 4 (C) or above. Communication skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Problem solving skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative, Non judgemental, Patience, Physical fitness. A DBS may be required. Must enjoy working with children.
