About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring individuals passionate about working with children to join us as Playworker Apprentices. This role offers hands-on experience in delivering engaging, safe, and inclusive before-school, after-school, and holiday club sessions. You will support children's learning, development, and enjoyment through play, helping them to grow in creativity, confidence, and independence. Responsibilities include assisting with session delivery, creating a safe and inclusive environment, setting up and packing away equipment, and ensuring safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed. Apprentices will complete 6 hours of off-the-job training weekly and will work towards a Level 2 Playworker Apprenticeship Standard. Excellent communication skills, customer care, patience, and physical fitness are required. A driving licence is essential due to travel between locations. This is an excellent opportunity for career progression within our intensive training structure.
