Recruitment and Digital Marketing Apprentice

About the role

Start your career with Step Recruitment in an apprenticeship combining recruitment administration, social media, website content and SEO. No experience needed, as training is provided. If you're organised, creative and keen to learn, develop business administration and digital marketing skills while creating great content and sharing ideas.

Duties:

At Step Recruitment, you will help promote opportunities, support candidates and universities, and create engaging digital content for student, employer and university audiences. You do not need previous recruitment or SEO experience. We will provide training in our systems, SEO techniques and role-specific software. We are looking for someone organised, curious and creative, with a genuine interest in marketing and content creation. Experience using Canva, social media, websites or other creative tools would be a bonus, but it is not essential.

This is a hands-on apprenticeship where you can build strong business administration skills while developing valuable digital marketing experience. The Director and Management Team will set the overall marketing direction and plan. As you gain experience, you will be encouraged to suggest content ideas, identify opportunities and contribute to how Step communicates with its audiences.

Working across Step's recruitment and projects teams, you will provide accurate administrative support while helping coordinate and deliver the agreed SEO and social media plan. Your responsibilities will grow as your skills and confidence develop. You will receive clear direction, regular support and training.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English & Maths at grade 9-4 (C) or above. Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Customer care skills, Presentation skills, Team working, Creative, Initiative.
