People Apprentice (National Energy Action)

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience within National Energy Action's people services department. You will provide high-quality administrative support across various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, employee records, payroll, and HR systems. The role involves supporting recruitment campaigns, acting as a first point of contact for candidates, coordinating interview processes, and completing pre-employment checks. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate employee records, processing employment-related documentation, and supporting HR systems. The apprenticeship aims to develop your skills in promoting employee engagement, wellbeing, inclusion, and diversity. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and embody NEA's values. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in Human Resources and gain a recognised People Professional apprenticeship qualification.

Entry requirements

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4/C or above. Strong communication, IT, and organisational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, a proactive approach, and a willingness to learn are essential.
