Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship

About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Level 2 Early Years apprentice (or Level 3 for those with experience) at Twiggy's Day Nursery to support in providing the highest standards of childcare. The role involves supporting the planning, preparation, and delivery of age-appropriate and interesting activities to meet a child's individual needs. The apprentice will work closely with parents and guardians, follow safeguarding policies, and assist in daily nursery routines. The employer, Twiggy's Day Nursery, emphasizes a nurturing environment and tailored support for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with locations in Donnington, Sutton Hill, and Madeley. They also offer after-school and holiday clubs. The apprenticeship includes work-based learning, support with English and maths if required, and an End Point Assessment.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English grade 3 or D (or Level 1 FS). Desired: GCSE English and Maths grade 9-4/A*-C (or Level 2 FS). Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential, along with initiative, patience, and reliability.
