About the role

This apprenticeship offers an excellent opportunity for a smart, ambitious, and self-motivated individual to join a friendly environment as an Apprentice Service & Maintenance Technician. You will work alongside experienced technicians, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to very high industry standards. Duties include carrying out foundation tasks, contributing to a safe working environment, accessing technical data and wiring diagrams, using diagnostic and measuring equipment, and removing/repairing/replacing components to manufacturer specifications. The role requires advanced diagnostic principles and logical problem-solving techniques. Upon qualification, there will be opportunities for further advanced training and potential progression within the company. Off-the-job training is on a residential basis, with travel and accommodation costs covered by the employer. This is a physically demanding role.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English & Maths at Grade C/4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organisation, problem-solving, numerical, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential. Initiative, patience, and physical fitness are also required.
