About the role

As an Apprentice Vehicle Damage Paint Technician, you will work as part of a highly skilled workforce that is committed to quality, preparing, spraying and finishing vehicles that have been involved in collisions and other incidents. The successful candidate can expect a high-quality training package with excellent career prospects. Duties include repairing minor scratches and dents, preparing new and repaired panels for refinishing, masking and priming surfaces, and performing paint detailing and buffing to a suitable finish. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for cars, patience, dedication, and the drive to learn and build a future in the exciting automotive industry. Upon completion, you can pursue a full-time career with opportunities to progress to positions like workshop controller, Vehicle Damage Assessor, or Bodyshop Manager.

Entry requirements

  • GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English and Maths are desired. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and teamwork skills are essential.
