About the role
This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Service & Maintenance Technician within the automotive industry. You will learn to perform foundation tasks common to all service and repair procedures, contribute to a safe working environment, and utilize advanced diagnostic equipment. Responsibilities include accessing technical data, removing and replacing components to manufacturer specifications, and applying logical problem-solving techniques. The role is physically demanding and involves off-the-job training on a residential basis, with travel and accommodation covered by the employer. Upon qualification, there are numerous opportunities for further training and career progression within the company.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English & Maths: C/4 or above. Strong communication, IT, attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, numerical, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential. Patience and physical fitness are also required.
