About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to become a qualified Service & Maintenance Technician at Steven Eagell Toyota in Wolverhampton. You will gain hands-on experience carrying out a wide range of tasks on vehicles, contributing to a safe working environment, and utilizing advanced diagnostic and repair equipment. The role involves working with technical data, removing and replacing components to manufacturer specifications, and applying problem-solving techniques.

Key duties include foundation tasks common to all service and repair procedures, ensuring a safe workplace, accessing technical information like wiring diagrams, using complex diagnostic tools, and performing component repairs or replacements according to manufacturer standards. You'll also develop advanced diagnostic principles and logical problem-solving skills.

This is a physically demanding role, and the off-the-job training is conducted on a residential basis. Upon qualification, there are opportunities for further advanced training and potential career progression within the company. Successful candidates will need GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above, along with strong communication, IT, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
