About the role

Key responsibilities include the preparation of personal tax returns for director clients, landlords, and sole traders, reviewing and updating tax codes, and preparing end-of-year P11D forms. The role also involves administrative duties to assist senior staff, liaising with HMRC for progress chasing, and updating Self-Assessment records. This apprenticeship is ideal for a graduate seeking to expand their knowledge in accountancy but will also consider non-graduates with a keen interest. Excellent communication skills are essential for liaising with clients and HMRC, as is the ability to work effectively within a team. There is a potential opportunity to study towards professional tax exams such as the ATT/CTA. Apprentices will attend college lessons once a week.

Entry requirements
