About the role

SPORTING EVENTS GLOBAL LTD is seeking an enthusiastic and analytical Accounts Data Analyst Apprentice to join their Accounts/Finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals interested in both finance and data analysis to build a career while undertaking a recognised Level 4 Data Analyst apprenticeship. The role involves supporting the accounts team with financial data collection, organisation, and analysis, assisting with financial reporting, maintaining financial systems, and using Microsoft Excel for analysis. You will also support the development of Power BI dashboards, analyse key financial information, identify trends and discrepancies, and help with data cleansing. This position offers the chance to produce regular and ad-hoc reports, automate reporting processes, assist with reconciliations, and present financial findings to management. Additional opportunities within sales and marketing are also available. The ideal candidate will be numerate, curious, highly organised, accurate, confident with computers, and possess good communication and teamwork skills.
