About the role

An excellent opportunity for an ambitious and professional individual to join ARTEMIS INSURANCE BROKERS LTD as an Insurance Broker Apprentice. This role offers the chance to build a long-term career in insurance broking while completing the Level 4 Insurance Professional Apprenticeship and working towards a recognised professional insurance qualification. You will work alongside experienced professionals, developing the technical knowledge and commercial skills needed to support clients, understand their insurance needs, approach insurers, and arrange appropriate insurance solutions. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, building an understanding of client businesses, assisting with obtaining and reviewing insurer quotations, negotiating terms, preparing proposals, comparing policy wordings, and maintaining client communication to a high standard. You will also ensure accurate record-keeping and work in accordance with FCA requirements and insurance regulations. The apprenticeship covers insurance principles, broking, risk assessment, products, regulatory requirements, client management, negotiation, communication, claims, underwriting, and ethical standards. Dedicated time will be provided for training, workshops, assessments, and professional development.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths (Grade 4-9) and GCSE English (Grade 4-9). Essential skills include initiative, logical thinking, analytical skills, number skills, customer care, organization, and attention to detail.
