About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to launch and develop a career in IT support within The White Horse Federation. The role involves providing first-line IT support to staff and students, assisting with troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and supporting the setup and maintenance of various devices. Responsibilities also include managing user accounts, maintaining IT asset records, assisting with software installations, and supporting ongoing IT projects. The apprentice will work towards a Level 3 qualification, gaining valuable hands-on experience in a busy educational environment. The program emphasizes developing a mix of hard and soft skills, including network configuration, user account management, effective communication, problem-solving, time management, and customer service. Upon completion, there will be opportunities for further training and progression to a Level 4 qualification.
