About the role

Dean Wilson LLP is seeking a proactive and customer-focused IT Support Technician Apprentice to join their IT team. This role involves providing essential technical support to colleagues and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems. The apprentice will undertake reactive IT support, project work, and scheduled maintenance, providing first-line technical support via telephone and remote access. Responsibilities include setting up, updating, and diagnosing IT systems and equipment, general network support, installing and configuring devices, and responding to IT queries with timely and helpful support. The apprentice will explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users, maintain accurate IT records, and carry out administrative tasks. An interest in IT, a good knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows, and strong problem-solving skills are desirable. Relevant IT qualifications are a plus.
