About the role
This Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship at Tomberries Nursery offers hands-on experience in a nursery setting. Apprentices will assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities, promote learning through play in line with the EYFS framework, and create a safe and stimulating environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining clean learning spaces, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures, observing and monitoring children's progress, and contributing to their development plans. The role also involves promoting positive behavior, supporting children during daily routines, and collaborating effectively with colleagues and parents. This apprenticeship provides a clear pathway to becoming a fully qualified practitioner in the Early Years sector, with opportunities for progression into senior roles like Room Leader, Deputy Nursery Manager, or Nursery Manager. Further advanced qualifications, such as Level 4 Early Years Advanced Practitioner and Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner, are also available, along with options to move into school-based roles or pursue higher education.
