About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to become a fully qualified Early Years Educator at Level 3. As an apprentice at Casa Tierra Childcare, you will gain hands-on experience, develop new skills, and work alongside experienced staff. You will assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities, promote learning through play in line with the EYFS framework, and create a safe and stimulating environment for children. Key responsibilities include maintaining clean learning spaces, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety procedures, observing and monitoring children's progress, and contributing to their development plans. You will also promote positive behavior, support children during daily routines such as mealtimes and toileting, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents. The apprenticeship will involve regular training with NEXTSTEP TRAINING LIMITED, including off-the-job training, workshops, and learning activities. You will work towards completing the Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship standard, which includes Functional Skills in English and maths, and a paediatric first aid qualification. This apprenticeship offers a clear pathway to career progression within the Early Years sector, with opportunities to advance to roles like Senior Practitioner, Deputy Nursery Manager, or Nursery Manager, and pursue further qualifications.
