About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Childcare Apprentice at our Garsington Road Day Nursery in Oxford. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in providing outstanding early years care and education for children aged 0-5 years. You will work as part of a supportive team, planning and implementing activities to enhance children's development, completing observations, and interacting positively with children, parents, and colleagues. Successful completion will lead to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, potentially including functional skills in maths and English, and a paediatric first aid qualification. Upon completion, you will be appointed as a qualified Nursery Nurse with opportunities for career progression to roles like Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English (grade 4) and Maths (grade 4) or equivalent. Strong communication, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgemental attitude, and patience are desired.
