About the role

Join Childbase Partnership as a Childcare Apprentice at our West Downs Day Nursery in Winchester. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain practical experience in early years care and education. You will work as part of a dedicated team to create safe and supportive learning environments, plan activities to enhance children's development, and interact positively with children, colleagues, and parents. You will also be responsible for adhering to nursery routines and policies, and managing your time effectively to meet coursework deadlines. This role is ideal for individuals who are patient, creative, and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there is potential for a permanent contract as a qualified Nursery Nurse and further career progression opportunities to Team Leader, Deputy Manager, and Nursery Manager roles.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above (or equivalent)
