About the role

Join SCHOOL'S OUT ROTHLEY LTD in Leicester as an Apprentice Childcare Practitioner. This Level 3 apprenticeship offers valuable hands-on experience across Breakfast Club, Preschool, and After School Club. You will support children through play, learning, and activities, developing your childcare skills in a fun and supportive setting. The role involves welcoming children, facilitating indoor and outdoor play, assisting with snacks, and preparing the setting. As an apprentice, you will learn to provide a high standard of provision in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, develop knowledge of EYFS and assessment systems, plan appropriate activities, work effectively with colleagues, and organize the learning environment. You will also learn to communicate effectively, challenge and reflect on your practice, use initiative, and maintain a focus on the children's best interests. Upon successful completion, career progression opportunities include becoming a Childcare Practitioner, with the potential to progress to Level 5 Lead Practitioner.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English C/4 or equivalent. Level 2 Childcare (or 6 months experience) Pass/Achieved.
