About the role

Lawton Bradford Accountants are offering an Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship in Stafford. This opportunity provides a full training program to gain the AAT Accountancy Technician qualification through Babington Business College. Depending on prior qualifications, the apprenticeship will start at either Level 2 or Level 3 in accounting. The role involves general office administration, front of house duties, processing financial transactions, preparing financial accounts, assisting with tax returns, using accountancy software, supporting team members, and gaining knowledge in bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, and company accounts. Full on-the-job training will be provided, with support from both the team and training provider. There is also potential for further progression to professional qualifications and a possibility of a full-time role upon completion.
