About the role

Our Directors' & Officers' (D&O) team arranges insurance that protects business leaders if claims are made against them because of decisions they make at work. You'll gain exposure to the full insurance lifecycle, learning how risks are assessed, negotiated and placed while developing communication and relationship-building skills.

Duties include building understanding of D&O and Financial Institutions insurance, supporting the team in preparing and sending insurance submissions to insurers, and helping to create insurance slips. You will attend meetings with underwriters, insurers, brokers and clients to learn how relationships and negotiations are managed, and support the team in reviewing insurers' responses. The role also involves processing invoices and providing accurate administrative support throughout the insurance placement process, and working with numerical information in a fast-moving environment.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative, numerical, analytical, and teamwork skills are essential.
