About the role
This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive introduction to the Marine, Cargo & Logistics insurance sector. Apprentices will rotate through different teams, including brokers, technicians, and claims, to gain a holistic understanding of how insurance protects clients' ships, cargo, and transport operations from risks such as damage, accidents, theft, or delays. The role involves supporting teams with processing insurance information, managing client requests, and maintaining accurate systems and client records. Successful completion of the 18-month programme leads to a transition into a permanent role within Howden.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 or above. Key skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, administrative skills, logical thinking, and teamwork.
