About the role
Join Inspirations Nurseries and Forest School Limited as an Apprentice Production Chef in Leeds. This Level 2 apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your culinary skills in a childcare setting. You will work alongside the Nursery Cook to prepare healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 years. Duties include menu planning, assisting with meal preparation, catering to dietary requirements and allergies, adhering to strict food hygiene and safety standards, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and assisting with deliveries and stock monitoring. You will also support positive mealtimes and encourage healthy eating habits. Upon successful completion, there is potential for a permanent role.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 9-4. Communication skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem solving skills, presentation skills, analytical skills, team working, creative, initiative, patience.
