About the role
En Root is a vibrant South London restaurant offering an Indian-inspired vegan cuisine experience, with locations in Clapham and Peckham. We are passionate about health, flavor, culture, and nutritional joy, believing that fun and love are essential ingredients. This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in preparing dishes, interacting with customers, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You will learn to prepare fruits and vegetables for both savory and sweet dishes, master hot drink preparation, communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure smooth service, assist in creating special recipes and menu items, take orders and payments, and maintain cleanliness in both the dining area and kitchen, including end-of-day cleaning routines. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain practical skills in the hospitality industry, with training provided in Food & Hygiene and Health & Safety, alongside onsite and online learning to equip you for future work placements or employment with En Root.
