About the role
This apprenticeship offers an opportunity to become an Apprentice Cook at INSPIRATIONS NURSERIES AND FOREST SCHOOL LIMITED in LEEDS. You will work alongside the Nursery Cook to prepare healthy, balanced, and nutritious meals and snacks for children aged 0-5. Responsibilities include learning menu planning, preparing meals considering dietary needs and allergies, understanding food safety, maintaining hygiene records, and assisting with kitchen cleanliness. The apprenticeship is for 1 Year 3 Months, with a starting salary of £12,480 per year. Upon successful completion, a full-time permanent contract is highly likely. Training will be provided by LUMINATE EDUCATION GROUP, with a minimum of 30 hours per week and attendance at Leeds City College.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above are desired. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, teamwork, initiative, and a commitment to personal hygiene and cleanliness are essential. Enhanced DBS clearance is required.
