Join Nicholson's pubs, a friendly bunch with nearly 150 years of experience in great food, drink, and classic British hospitality. If you love making people happy, we want to hear from you. As part of our front of house team, you'll be the friendly face our guests remember, acting as a waiter, waitress, or bartender. You'll know our menu inside out, recommend favourites, and inject your personality to ensure guests return. With over 13 brands and 1600 businesses, the opportunities to learn and grow are endless.
Responsibilities include offering a warm welcome and farewell, communicating service cycles, products, and offers, providing personalized recommendations, valuing regular guests, checking guest satisfaction, handling queries and complaints promptly, communicating with the team, maintaining cleanliness, and participating in training. You will work towards a Hospitality Team Member Level 2 Apprenticeship standard over 15 months. This is a work-based training program with no college attendance required, including face-to-face sessions and remote calls with a Lifetime Learner Coach every 6 weeks, plus a mentor.
