Apprentice Plumber

About the role

This apprenticeship offers a comprehensive training program to become a qualified Plumber. You will work alongside experienced site technicians, gaining hands-on experience in various plumbing tasks. This includes understanding and complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations, carrying out 1st and 2nd fix plumbing, installing heating systems, testing, fault finding, and rectification. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills, along with a logical approach and good physical fitness. Desired qualifications include GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4) and Level 3 Electrical Installations. Upon completion, there are opportunities for career progression within the construction industry or a move into domestic electrical work. The apprenticeship also includes obtaining a CSCS card, requires being 18+ for insurance purposes, and comfort working on construction sites and at heights.
