About the role
This Level 3 Plumbing Apprenticeship with CoTrain, based in Wokingham, offers a comprehensive training program for aspiring plumbers. The apprenticeship involves installing hot and cold water systems, sanitation, drainage, and central heating, as well as supporting rainwater harvesting. Apprentices will gain practical experience in cutting and joining pipes and fittings, with potential work at heights or in confined spaces. The program aims to equip apprentices with the skills required for full-time employment as a plumber upon successful completion. CoTrain, as a shared apprenticeship scheme, employs and mentors apprentices, placing them with construction partners and colleges. Upon completion, apprentices will earn a Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician, Level 3 qualification, satisfy requirements for EngTech registration with professional bodies like CIPHE and CIBSE, and be eligible for a CSCS Card.
