About the role

This Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeship with THE CALICO GROUP LIMITED offers a fantastic opportunity to train as a qualified electrician. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical services to customers, diagnosing faults, completing repairs to high standards, and ensuring homes are safe and meet required electrical standards. Duties include adhering to materials ordering and van stock control procedures, communicating effectively with customers, prioritizing work, and using PDAs for real-time reporting. You will also ensure all health and safety requirements are met and maintain a professional and respectful manner in customer homes. Activities involve delivering quality electrical repairs and testing, problem-solving with colleagues, and contributing to service improvements. Essential skills include safe working practices, appropriate PPE usage, strong communication, organizational skills, customer care, initiative, decision-making, health and safety knowledge, IT proficiency, workload prioritization, and meeting deadlines. A driving licence is preferred.

Entry requirements

• GCSE Maths and English A*-C/9-4, BTEC Electrical Installation Pass or above.
