Traffic Management - Health and Safety Apprentice

About the role

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health and Safety Apprentice to join our Traffic Management account within Amey's Transport Infrastructure Business Unit, based in Manchester. This role is ideal for individuals leaving school, finishing college, or seeking a career change, offering a great starting point for your future career.

Key responsibilities include supporting the delivery of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) activities, conducting site inspections and audits, monitoring compliance with safety procedures, and assisting in incident investigations. You will also play a part in promoting a positive safety culture, supporting the development of operational documentation, and delivering safety briefings. Building effective working relationships with various stakeholders and maintaining accurate records are crucial. The apprenticeship involves attending training to achieve a Level 3 qualification and support continuous improvement initiatives. Potential for permanent employment exists for the right candidate.

Entry requirements

• Full UK driving licence. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. If under 19 and without Maths/English qualifications, Functional Skills must be completed.
