As a Care Support Apprentice, you will learn how to provide high-quality care and support to people in their own homes while developing valuable skills and experience. You will support individuals with their daily routines, personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and medication in line with training and care plans. You will also provide companionship, complete accurate care records, and work closely with colleagues and healthcare professionals. A caring, reliable, and positive attitude, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn are essential.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4-9 (A*-C) desirable. Good communication skills, organization skills, problem-solving skills, team working ability, initiative, patience, and empathy.
