Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship

About the role

Start your career in care with our Level 2 Adult Care Apprenticeship. Gain valuable hands-on experience supporting adults with their daily needs while earning, learning, and developing the skills needed for a rewarding career in health and social care.

Duties include assisting clients with daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, and mobility. You will also help with light household chores, meal preparation, and laundry. The role involves promoting clients' mental and physical activities, adhering to company policies, and reporting any significant changes in client health. Encouraging client independence is a key aspect of this role. Upon successful employment, pre-employment checks will be conducted, including right-to-work checks and DBS applications. An internal online social media search will also be performed.

Entry requirements

• GCSE English and Maths at A*-C/9-4 or Level 2 equivalent. Desired skills include communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, initiative, patience, physical fitness, flexibility, and a caring nature.
