About the role
This apprenticeship is designed for individuals with existing experience in a nursery or school setting who are passionate about childcare and early years, seeking to advance their careers. The role involves delivering engaging activities that foster learning and development, preparing and maintaining the nursery environment and resources, and assisting children with their self-help needs. The apprentice will also be responsible for food preparation and adhering to strict safeguarding and health and hygiene regulations. Continuous training, including Paediatric First Aid, will be provided. Successful completion leads to a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification, with opportunities for a permanent position and progression into roles such as social work, teaching, or management.
Entry requirements
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or above, good communication, attention to detail, organization, customer care, problem-solving, teamwork, creativity, initiative, non-judgmental attitude, and patience.
