About the role

This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to start a career in facilities management as a Facilities Supervisor Apprentice at a secondary school. The role involves gaining hands-on experience in coordinating site operations, managing maintenance tasks, ensuring health and safety for students and staff, and supporting various school projects. This is a "earn while you learn" position, leading to a recognised qualification. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised, possess excellent communication skills, and be a strong team player. Key responsibilities include site operations coordination, maintenance management, health and safety assurance, and project support. As a Facilities Supervisor Apprentice, you will also act as a key holder for the site. The apprenticeship includes completing a full qualification, Employment Rights and Responsibilities, Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours, Standard and End Point Assessment, and Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT if required. Additional employer-specific training will also be provided.

Entry requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English at grades 4-9 or equivalent.
