About the role
An apprentice estimator will support the estimating team by reviewing project drawings, preparing cost estimates, and assisting in submitting accurate tenders. Key duties include reviewing tender documents, measuring passive fire protection and structural elements, obtaining supplier quotes, and supporting cost estimates for materials and labour. The role also involves supporting project handovers. Essential requirements include GCSEs in Mathematics and English at Grade 4 or equivalent, along with strong communication, attention to detail, organisation, customer care, problem-solving, and number skills. Upon completion, there's an opportunity to work as a qualified estimator, with potential for senior roles within the organisation. Innovaré, the company, specialises in offsite construction using Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs) with a strong track record in education, healthcare, and residential projects.
